Waste Reduction and Recycling
We recycle 95% of everything we produce and process. This isn’t selective recycling; it’s a systematic approach to waste reduction across all materials:
- Paperboard waste is recycled back to our substrate manufacturers, where it’s repurposed for other sustainable folding carton applications or tissue paper production
- Metal waste from dies, equipment, and production processes is recycled
- Inks are recycled rather than disposed of as waste
- Coatings are recycled through specialized programs
Recyclable packaging ensures that little of our production process ends up in landfills. Our paperboard substrates are recyclable, and we can provide the documentation needed for you to use recyclability logos on your packaging. When customers request recycled paperboard materials for their projects, we can source them and provide verification documentation for sustainability claims.
Energy Efficiency
Our facilities use LED lighting to reduce power consumption. One facility has completed the full LED transition, while the second facility is actively making this change as part of our ongoing energy efficiency improvements.
We continuously evaluate our operations for opportunities to reduce energy usage and improve efficiency, though we prefer to communicate only about initiatives that are fully implemented rather than in-progress projects.
Domestic Material Sourcing
We source our materials domestically whenever possible, supporting American manufacturers and reducing the environmental impact of international shipping. While we occasionally source specialty items — certain inks or unique materials — internationally when necessary, our commitment to domestic sourcing reflects both our values and our focus on reliable, sustainable supply chains.
Domestic sourcing significantly reduces the carbon footprint associated with material transportation. It also eliminates the supply chain risks and delays that international dependencies create, ensuring reliable material availability for our customers’ production schedules.

When you need to make sustainability claims on your packaging, we provide the documentation to support them. This includes verification that materials are recyclable and, when requested, documentation for recycled content in your food packaging, retail cartons, or beauty packaging.
