Pak-Pro is proud to announce the promotion of Jimmy Hancock to Supervisor of Packaging Project Management, a role that will strengthen the company’s ability to deliver complex packaging projects with precision, speed, and reliability.

In his new position, Hancock will oversee all client projects across the organization, including project management, account management, estimating, purchasing, and inventory management. His leadership will help ensure Pak-Pro customers receive accurate timelines, clear communication, and packaging delivered on time and on budget.

A Career Built on Experience and Adaptability

Hancock brings 27 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry to the role. His career began at large commercial printers, where he started as an estimator trainee while attending college at night. Over the years, he steadily advanced through leadership positions including plant manager and general manager, at one point overseeing 176 employees.

That experience gave him a deep understanding of both the technical and operational sides of the industry — from production workflows and estimating to customer relationships and project execution.

Later in his career, Hancock joined Lockheed Martin, where he initially managed the company’s print shop before taking on a broader leadership role overseeing company services.

Jimmy joined Spectrum Packaging Network — now Pak-Pro — in 2023, where his versatility quickly became an asset.

“When I came here, they needed someone who could wear a lot of hats,” Hancock said. “My background allowed me to jump in wherever the team needed help.”

That flexibility and experience have made him a key contributor to the company’s growth.

Strengthening the Customer Experience

In his new leadership role, Hancock will bring together several critical functions that support customer projects — ensuring greater alignment across estimating, purchasing, production planning, and client communication.

The goal is simple: deliver packaging projects without surprises.

For growing brands and packaging brokers, accuracy in quoting, scheduling, and execution is essential. Hancock’s oversight will help ensure projects are scoped correctly from the start, allowing Pak-Pro to consistently deliver on both cost expectations and production timelines.

“Customers rely on us not just to produce their packaging, but to help them plan for growth,” Hancock said. “If we quote something, we want them to know they can depend on it.”

Helping Brands Stand Out on the Shelf

One of the aspects of Pak-Pro that excites Hancock most is the company’s ability to help brands bring creative packaging ideas to life.

From unique structural designs to specialty finishes that help products stand out on retail shelves, Pak-Pro works closely with customers to develop packaging that captures attention — while still meeting production realities.

“When a customer wants something different — a unique shape, a special finish, something that helps them land shelf space at a major retailer like Walmart — we’re able to help bring that idea to life,” Hancock said.

Through a collaborative process that includes creating physical mockups before production, Pak-Pro can accurately scope costs, timelines, and technical requirements before moving forward.

“That process allows us to quote accurately and then deliver exactly what we promised,” he said.

Built for Growing Brands

For many of Pak-Pro’s customers — including growing consumer brands and packaging brokers — that combination of creativity and operational discipline is critical.

Companies rely on Pak-Pro not only to produce their packaging, but to help them scale with confidence, knowing their packaging partner will deliver consistently as demand grows.

Hancock’s expanded role ensures the internal processes supporting those projects remain just as strong as the creative ideas behind them.

A Lifelong Passion for Speed

Dependable speed, helping bring customers’ products to market with confidence, is a core value at Pak-Pro, and something Jimmy Hancock lives out every day, both inside and outside of work. In fact, Hancock has another passion that speaks to his lifelong love of speed, precision and performance: motorcycles.

He’s been riding since he was 10 years old and even spent time racing earlier in life. He still enjoys getting out on the road whenever he can. “It’s something I’ve loved my whole life,” he said with a smile.

Looking Ahead

With Hancock stepping into his expanded leadership role, Pak-Pro continues to strengthen the operational foundation that supports its customers’ success.

By investing in experienced leaders, new talent, and improved equipment and systems, the company is building the capabilities needed to support growing brands with reliable, high-quality paperboard packaging — delivered on time and on budget.
